The Salisbury Conservation Commission has organized a hike on Saturday, February 11th at 9 AM on the Pitch Pine Trail in Salisbury. The focus will be looking at winter trees, mammal tracks, and wildlife sign. The hike will be limited to the first 20 people to sign up. Jim Andrews will lead this informal hike around the trail. The trail is 1.7 miles long round trip and is mostly flat terrain with only a couple short hills. In case we lose our snow or bad weather is forecast, the back-up date will be Saturday, February 18th. The trail head, parking lot, and kiosk are 1/4 mile east from Route 7 on Plains Road.
