Public Hearing on FY24 Budget & City Council Meeting

The Essex Junction City Council invites residents to participate in a public hearing on the proposed FY24 Budget and Capital Program Budget on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 6:30 p.m.

This hybrid meeting will be held remotely using the ZOOM meetings platform (https://zoom.us/j/94464297825?pwd=T0RTL0VteHZXNHlteTJpQi83WUg4QT09), by telephone at 1(888) 788-0099 (meeting code 944 6429 7825, passcode 635787), and in person at the City Offices at 2 Lincoln St., Essex Junction.

This public meeting will allow residents the opportunity to comment on the proposed budget before the budget article is placed on the ballot. The proposed FY 24 Budget and information on the annual meeting can be found at www.essexjunction.org/departments/clerk/voter-information/annual-meeting.

The City Council will also meet for a regularly scheduled meeting following the public hearing, and it will also be a hybrid meeting.

The City Council will discuss the following business items:
- Discussion of FY24 Proposed Budget and Capital Program Budget
- Discussion and consideration of moving the Annual Meeting date and discussion on the Annual Meeting Election/Preparation Schedule
- Discussion and consideration of the Crescent Connector Bid Award
