Ice on Fire 2023 on Sunday, February 5th.
Come one, come all to this wonderful festival, celebrating the warmth of community in the depths of winter!
Dance, theater, music, storytelling, and poetry performed by local artists and community members, winter games, kids activities and hot food and drink to warm the soul. All activities are outdoors.
Ice on Fire is happening on Sunday February 5, 2023, 2 - 5pm at the newly acquired City of Montpelier location: the Elks Club, 203 Country Club Road in Montpelier. There is parking on-site.
Free cider, chili, performances, and activities for all! Admission/suggested donation: $10/person, no one turned away for lack of funds.
Please bring mugs and spoons for hot cider & chili.
Please bring your friends and family, but kindly leave your dogs at home.
We are looking for puppeteers, and volunteers to help set up and clean up. If you're willing, please email us at info@alltogethernowvt.org.
Schedule of the day:
• 11:00 - 12:00 - Procession Set Up - Volunteers welcome
• 12:00 -1:30 Singing Rehearsal - Join in learning the songs!
• 1:30 - Parade line up - Everyone is invited to join in the procession: Signing, Music making, Costumes, Puppeteers needed! Contact Janice
• 2pm - Procession and Opening Ceremony
• 2:30 - 4:45- Games, Stories, Performances, Songs, Food, Merriment
• 4:45 - Closing Ceremony and bonfire!
