Historic Movie Night at the Albany Town Hall: Harvest time and natural disasters
We will be showing films that capture many farming activities in and around East Craftsbury in the late 20's, 30's and 40's. Cutting oats, cutting corn, haying, cutting ice. Includes footage after the 1927 flood and the 1938 hurricane.
Paul Daniels of the Albany Historical Society will be joining us to offer some stories and perspective. Free, all are welcome.
Note: these films are from the J.W. Simpson Memorial Library Ouida B. Grant film collection.
