THRIVING THROUGH THAWING <> A Wholehearted Wintering Workshop for Women <> Join us on Saturday, March 25th from 9am-12pm for 3 hours of resting and retreating at the beautiful Sterling Forest Lodge in Stowe, VT as we focus on the "thawing" period of wintering given the timing of the Spring Equinox. We will contemplate and discuss the idea of wintering and share in our own experiences while also resting and retreating through a sauna and cold plunge. Attendees are encouraged to have read the book "Wintering" by Katherine May, but if you have not, no worries! This workshop will leave you feeling cared for and supported no matter if you have read the book or not.

So what does "Wintering" mean? Katherine May defines it as "a fallow period in life when you're cut off from the world, feeling rejected, sidelines, blocked from progress, or cast into the role of an outsider. Perhaps this results from an illness or life event such as a bereavement or the birth of a child; perhaps it comes from a humiliation or failure. Perhaps you're in a period of transition and have temporarily fallen between two world. Some wintering creep upon us more slowly…Some are appallingly sudden… However it arrives, wintering is usually involuntary, lonely, and deeply playful." Does this resonate with you?
