Families, come join another great opportunity for kids to learn how things work by taking some old appliances and toys apart at the Pierson Library. We provide all the tools, safety goggles, and guidance. Bring something to dissect or take apart one of our lovely old machines (see attached flyer for what to bring and not to bring). The activity is led by an ex-NASA female engineer who used to design Mars Rovers, and loves teaching kids hands-on engineering in a fun way.
Next month we'll be moving on to some design activities (and possibly stop motion), so don't miss this opportunity to take something apart.
