February is heart month. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US for both men and women. Two of the major risk factors of heart disease are high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
On 2-14-23, from 10 AM to 2PM , at the Reading Town Hall, wellness nurses Rita and Amy will work with DH to conduct free blood pressure and cholesterol screenings. This is an "Aging in Place" initiative.
This will also occur in Brownsville's Mary Blood Library on Feb. 28th from 1PM to 4PM. Just show up! It's fun! People from other towns may attend as well.
