The Peace & Justice Center is happy to announce the first ‘Global Gathering’ event of this summer season for the PJC Kids’ Club! This Saturday, July 12th from 2 to 4 pm come down with your family and friends to the Peace & Justice Center on 60 Lake St, Burlington for a fun and educational afternoon by the waterfront! The first event of the PJC Kids’ Club will feature the Americas. Learning about the different cultures of this region with a variety of activities is sure to satisfy every kid no matter what their age or favorite activity! Inspired by the World Cup currently happening is Brazil, we will play soccer by waterfront, paint our faces with the colors resembling countries in the games, have story time with our international guest, Julian Geoffrey Lopez, from Mexico City, enjoy snacks inspired by the Americas such as PB&J’s sandwiches and delicious fruits, and much more!

The PJC Kids’ Club was designed with the hope to create a more cultural inclusive world for our young generations to grow up in; a world based on reciprocal respect for diversity in which we leave behind the concept of a colorblind society and instead embrace and empower diversity! These events are open to everyone of all ages and is free! We hope to see you all this Saturday at 2 pm at the Peace & Justice Center, so come on down and bring a friend!
