From 10:00 to 12:00 noon on Saturday 1/28/23, at the Platt Memorial Library in Shoreham, three members of the Verd Mont Button Club will be showing many different types of buttons and sharing information about the history of buttons, from antique to modern.
There are many different materials that buttons are made from, including shell, china, metals, glass, horn, stone, inlays, pottery, bone, vegetable ivory, old and new forms of plastic, paper, pearls etc. Come for a look at the buttons we are showing and learn about these functional, historical and beautiful items.
Admission is free and you may be surprised to learn about a new hobby!
