Past event
Feb 2, 2023, 5:30 to 7 PM

Please join us at the Mill Museum in welcoming Jayna Zweiman for a discussion on crafting and activism.

Perhaps best known as the co-creator of Pussyhat Project, Jayna has become a leading advocate of using design innovation to enact social change. The Pussyhat Project became a worldwide phenomenon at the 2017 Women's Marches as one of the largest crowd-sourced art advocacy projects ever. Through its global adoption, the Pussyhat has become an international symbol of women's rights and the resistance.

Jayna is also the creator and founder of Welcome Blanket, our current museum exhibit. Jayna will discuss the origins and impact of the Welcome Blanket project to support new immigrants coming to the United States. This presentation is made possible with support from Vermont Humanities.

Free event, Limited Seating.
