We're counting down to the annual Eastwoods block party this Saturday evening, July 12 from 5 pm to 8:30 pm. Location is the north end of Orchard Rd. We'll have a band, a facepainter, and hula hoop instructions.

Please RSVP to Alesia at Henryclear@msn.com. The event is free, but an RSVP helps the planning team know how much food to buy. Let her know how many are coming from your household, and how many hot dogs and burgers we should prepare for you.

Also let her know if you will volunteer to help with set up, greeting, cooking, serving, and clean-up. We also need to borrow a grill, folding tables, coolers, and pop up shelters for rain/shade.

Eastwoods will provide burgers, hot dogs and beverages. Neighbors should bring a side dish or dessert large enough to serve 6 - 8. Please label ingredients, and please bring a serving utensil. Don't forget folding chairs and bug spray.

We're looking forward to a good turnout.
