How do we destigmatize something? We get facts; we ask questions; and we talk with each other.
You are cordially invited to Bent Northrop Memorial Library Friday, February 10th. The Alzheimer's Association staff will be here from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., along with Vermonters with Alzheimer's and other dementias, family caregivers, and service providers to help us destigmatize dementia.
We will learn about the 10 warning signs of dementia and talk about:
What is it like to be diagnosed, live, and care for someone with Alzheimer's or another dementia.
What services are available in Vermont and in your community.
Ideas to make Franklin County more dementia friendly.
How you can help to end Alzheimer's and all other dementias.
This event is free and open to everyone, including those with dementia. Refreshments will be provided.
