There are a few spaces left for those of you keen to learn more about how to write a play. Jeanne Beckwith, Beckwith, a prolific playwright whose plays have been staged in Vermont, New York, California, Dublin and Istanbul and teaches literature and theater arts on the college level, will guide participants as they discover the basic elements of playwriting, plot and character development and write a 10 minute play applying these concepts. The four week playwriting workshop begins on Thursday, February 2nd from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Joslin Memorial Library.
