Can you think of a better way to celebrate love than by giving to your community? During the heat of the pandemic the Barre Lions Club held a food drive that was hugely successful. We were able to give checks for $250 to the food shelves at The Salvation Army, Capstone, Hedding Methodist Church, and St. Monicas' in addition to hundreds of pounds of food and other items.

This year our "Food from the Heart" Food Drive will be held on Saturday, February 11th from 10-2 at Tatro's Appliance, 272 Morrison Road in Barre Town across from The O'Reilly's Warehouse.

All nonperishable foods are welcome in addition to paper products, cleaning supplies, and diapers. If you would like to make a donation by check, mail your check made out to Barre Lions Club with food drive in the memo line to P.O. Box 211 Barre, VT 05641. A VENMO account will be available soon.
