I am excited to be playing in trio format tonight from 6-9pm at The Stowe Village Inn. I'll be playing with John Rivers on upright bass and Geza Carr on drumset.

This trio visits material quite different from that of CFI. We tend to play more out of a 'straight-ahead' book of tunes - with a fair bit of Brazilian influence and some of my original compositions as well. This gig and this focus is a great opportunity for me to revisit (and study) a vocabulary that is ALWAYS a good challenge and a fulfilling pursuit.

The bar itself is just lovely - the new owners have revitalized the entire Inn - and Grant's Bar lives again!

Thanks muchly to Mike, Lauren and Mandy for this weekly residency (every Friday now until the end of March)...and to those that have come out to enjoy the evening...
