POWER of 100
WHO WE ARE:
We are 100+ Women Who Care-Chittenden County (100WWC), a charitable giving circle with 172 members to date, which include 11 teams.
To date we have donated a combined $133,000 to 21 local nonprofits in 10 quarters!
With our current membership we are slated to donate a combined $64,000+ this year!
HOW IT WORKS:
• 100+ women
• Each member commits to donating $100 quarterly (teams donate $50 each)
• Members are encouraged to nominate a local nonprofit serving Chittenden County each quarter. Each nomination gets a name in the hat. Multiple people may nominate the same organization, increasing the times their name is in the hat.
• Three organizations names are pulled randomly each quarter, and a representative of each will speak at the meeting.
• We meet quarterly for one hour via Zoom and in person with a hybrid option offered 1-2 times each year.
• After hearing from the 3 nonprofits who shared their message & mission with us at the meeting, the members present cast their vote for the Primary recipient.
