Marek Bennett, one of the cartoonists and editors of "The Most Costly Journey," Vermont Reads 22 pick, gave a great workshop on Saturday. We have samples of some of the cartoon zines participants made here at the library.

We continue our journey with a book discussion on Tuesday evening, January 17th at 6:30 here in the SAL Room. The books have been disseminated, but a few are trickling back. Check in with the front desk or call 802.244.7036 to see if there is a copy for you. There will be extra at the book discussion if you have not read the book. Please come either way. These stories of love and loss, suffering and satisfaction, fear and courage are powerful. Sacrifice is huge. We will touch on many of these universal themes, so whether you've read the graphic anthology or not, the discussion will prove to be transformative.
