The Congregational Church of Rupert is hosting Gene Higgins Day on January 22nd at 10:00 am, all are welcome to attend the church service and celebration to follow honor, celebrate and share stories with and for Gene Higgins. Gene has been a Pilar of our community. He has provided us with countless hours of historical research, wonderful stories of our friends and neighbors of past and present as well as meaningful anecdotes and amusing jokes and so much laughter! He has touched all of us in the Rupert Community and beyond including the students he taught. Come honor Gene and his many years of service to our town and share a few more stories and laughs with him! There will be a church service followed by fellowship and celebration in Gene's honor, including cake!
Gene Higgins Day is January 22nd at 10:00am, at the 1786 Meeting House, 2803 VT-153, right next door to the library in Rupert, VT!
