Teen and Adult Women + (non binary and other marginalized genders welcome) basic self-defense class. No experience needed. Come explore your power (and opression!) in a fun and supportive environment while learning practical tools to defend yourself. Class will include boundary setting, kicks and strikes on pads, grab releases, blocking and evasion,verbal strategies, scenario, practice and peace based self-defense philosophy.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required (please email centralvermontselfdefense@gmail.com for registration forms or more information).

Class is held at Bethany Church (not affiliated) in Montpelier. Sliding scale $10-$25. Masks are required.

Class is taught by Tristan Elliott (she /her), 2nd degree black belt in kajukenbo kungfu, with over 20 years experience teaching all ages
