Chair Yoga at Pawlet Library

CHAIR YOGA: Tuesdays and Thursdays 11:45am - 12:30pm. This yoga series is a gentle chair practice for seniors designed to loosen and stretch muscles, improve range of motion, reduce stress and build strength. Participants are encouraged to work within their own ability. This class is recommended for all levels.

MAT YOGA: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00pm - 6:10pm. This yoga series is appropriate for beginners, and experienced yogis. Light flow, restorative relaxation, meditation and balance practice are part of each class.

SESSIONS FOR BOTH CLASSES: January 12, 17, 24, 26 and February 2, 7, 9, 16

Lisa May has been working as an AFAA Certified Personal Fitness Trainer/Practitioner and NASM Certified Nutrition Coach for over 30 years. She works with all ages and fitness levels – specializing in working with seniors. Lisa believes in a lifestyle approach to health, fitness and overall well being - incorporating positive, new habits and ideas into life every day.
