Parents/Guardians and Community Members of Bellows Free Academy,

I hope this message finds you well. I shared an update in December about the BFA Principal Hiring process and am writing today with an update. You are invited to participate in a community input session on Monday, January 23, from 6:00-7:00pm in the BFA Cafeteria.

As a BFA community member, your input will play a valuable role throughout the process. You are first invited to provide input into a parent/guardian and community discussion about the attributes and skills that you feel are necessary for the next principal to be successful. Then, an interview committee will be established, representing various stakeholder groups from the school community. Lastly, after interviews are completed, finalists will be invited to visit BFA and meet with students, staff, and community members and you will have an opportunity to ask questions of the finalists and provide feedback.

If you are interested in serving on the interview committee, you will be required to attend the staff input session in order to represent and advocate for the perspectives shared by the group. After the session in January, a Google Form will be sent out for you to express interest in participating on the interview committee.
