Join GMAA for the 32nd Clarence DeMar 5k Road Race on Saturday, July 5 at Folsom School in South Hero, race starts at 8:30. Come out for a flat, fast and fun 5k. $25 race day. There is a free 1/4 mile kids race, starting at 8:15. Refreshments after the race include watermelon and popsicles. Prizes include strawberry shotcake and lots of prizes from great island businesses. Proceeds from the race go to South Hero Rescue and the Folsom School PTO will be selling snacks.

Road closure information -- South Street (including several hundred feet south of Whipple Rd/West Shore Rd) will be closed on race day from 8:30 to 9 am. Please share this info with friends and neighbors-- we don’t want anyone to be surprised on race morning.
