Norwich University will host the New England premiere of the award-winning documentary film "Mission Mt. Mangart" on Saturday, January 14, 2023 in Mack Hall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. with a 6:00 p.m. pre-film reception and post-film Q&A with filmmaker, Chris Anthony.

"Mission Mt. Mangart" is a Cannes Film Festival award-winning documentary by Anthony, who is a film maker and professional skier, and member of the Colorado Ski Museum Hall of Fame. The film follows the U.S. Army's legendary 10th Mountain Division in the Julian Alps region of Italy at the end of World War II.

General admission tickets are $25.00 per person and include the pre-film reception and post-film Q&A plus one raffle ticket for over $5000 in fantastic prizes including lift tickets to Sugarbush, Stowe, Mad River Glen, Bolton Valley Resort and Jay Peak, ski and snowboard gear and accessories, Cabot Cheese, and more! Ski Vermont and its member resorts, Cabot and local businesses have donated raffle prizes as this event is a fundraiser to support Norwich University's Mountain and Cold Weather Company, the Chris Anthony Youth Initiative Project and the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum. Winners will be contacted following the movie and do not need to be present at the event.
