Save the date! Sleepy Hollow Inn, Ski, and Bike Center will host our first full moon gathering on Sunday, February 5th, from 4 to 9 p.m., featuring Nordic skiing through the woods on lighted trails, a free ski lesson, apres-ski entertainment by local musicians, a bonfire, and dinner, s'mores, and hot chocolate by the fire pit.
"Bring your friends, family, and kids to explore the trails, listen to music, and enjoy campfire treats," says co-proprietor Molly Peters. "It will hopefully be the start of a new tradition!"
The cost of the event is $25, $10 for under 12s, including food, drink, music, and lessons. Those without passes at Sleepy Hollow or reciprocal passes from other outdoor centers will also need half-day passes, which are $16, $14 for over 65s, $11 for kids, and free for under 6s.
For those who want to continue past 9 p.m., a few rooms are still available at the inn. This is a rare opportunity, since the inn is usually reserved for weddings, family reunions, business retreats, camps, and other groups. Call Sleepy Hollow at (802) 434-2283 for more information, tickets, or room reservations.
