Dorset Historical Society's own Jon Mathewson, Curator, presents: What's New in Dorset History
The Dorset Historical Society's Third-Thursday Lunch-Lecture on January 19 will feature Jon Mathewson, Curator. Jon will talk about recent research and discoveries in local history. This will include myth-breaking revelations about the original Proprietors, interesting century-old photograph albums, new information rising from the Quabbin reservoir, and other gleanings now illuminated in our collections.
DHS's TTLLs begin at noon and last about an hour. Attendees are invited to bring some lunch; desserts and drinks will be provided. The event is free, open to all and handicapped accessible.
