A great, accessible hobby that can be therapeutic and social all while provide an outlet for creativity. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!
For any prospective first-time attendees, please note that this is a social gathering for folks to practice their craft in a community environment. This is not a class per se HOWEVER Neil can offer some basic formal instruction and friendly advice. .
Bring any projects in progress, along with any finished work that you'd like to show. Greenwood will be available, if needed. Please bring all tools that you need to work—straight knives and hook knives, and a hatchet. We'll have knife-ready blanks for those who wish not to axe. We will not be lending any tools that you're not already familiar with using.
