Come join us the first Saturday of every month at the Stranahan Town Forest in Marshfield as we explore the diverse habitats of our North Woods Vermont home. We'll put together the stories of the land based on the tracks we see and talk about the hidden lives of our animal neighbors. I'll provide some loose structure and instruction, so bring your curiosity and your questions!
Our non-human neighbors live rich and complex lives all around us, but unless we're taught how to see it, we'll never know what they're up to. Come join us as we walk the land to see what's been happening, identify tracks in order to interpret behavior, discuss the ways animals move across the landscape, and talk about how our wild kin are earning their living as this unseasonably warm early winter progresses.
Our next meeting is this Saturday, January 7th, from 9:00-12:30. We'll be out there in (almost) any weather—so come prepared!
