On Thursday, July 10, The Henry Sheldon Museum presents a Lake Champlain Twilight History Cruise aboard the Carillon on the historic waters of Lake Champlain. What better way to spend a summer evening! The two-hour cruise is informal, with passengers enjoying hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Guest speaker Douglas Brooks will share the results of his valuable research on the traditions of small boats in Vermont, from muskrat trapping skiffs to sail ferries, in an illustrated presentation. Boat leaves promptly at 5:30 p.m. from Larabee’s Point in Shoreham and the cruise will last 2 hours. $35 ($30 for Museum members).
