Mad River Park is the Lawson's Sunshine Fund recipient January 1 - 15, 2023. Mad River Park (MRP) is owned and operated by the Mad River Valley Recreation District (MRVRD). Thousands of kids and adults use the Park each year. We are planning a coach and volunteer night at the taproom on Tuesday, January 10, 4-7 pm. The Rollin' Rust, an indie/folk group led by singer-songwriter James VanDeuson, starts at 5:00 pm, Volunteers make the park possible so bring your favorite coach or recreation volunteer to Lawson's to celebrate their hard work!
The funds raised will be used for important enhancements like an irrigation system, signage and future park improvements. Surrounded by a walking path with benches, the Mad River Park's 10 acres is a vital community resource for youth soccer, lacrosse and other sports for people of all ages.The fields host regional jamborees and are acclaimed statewide for their quality and beautiful mountain views.
