I'm excited to share some information about an upcoming event I'm co-hosting. The event is Resilience – The War through Ukrainian Children's Art, a benefit art show and auction to support the people of Ukraine. The event is January 11, from 6 - 8:30 pm at City Hall.

The event will feature over 50 pieces of amazing art done by children from across Ukraine. The art will also be available for sale and action to raise money to support shelters for those displaced by the war.

The event is hosted by Burlingtonians Adam Roof and Colin Hilliard from Actions Beyond Words, who have been leading local efforts to deliver much needed resources to Ukrainians displaced by the ongoing war. To date, Vermonters have worked together to deliver over 2,000 pounds of US supplies and funded 25 deliveries bringing approximately 20 tons of aid to over 22 Ukrainian communities, including Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Irpin, Kyiv, and Lviv. All told, this support has reached over 6,000 Ukrainians in need.
