If you love to sing but wish you had more confidence in hitting the notes and sounding good, start the year out right by finally doing something about it! Check out a new, light-hearted, online singing course starting this Sunday, Jan. 8. In this 3-part class, you'll learn easy techniques to help you pour more energy and emotion into your voice and hit those notes.
"Find Your Blues Voice With Your Ukulele" is geared for anyone who loves to sing. Don't play the ukulele but love to sing? C'mon in! The main focus of this class is on your voice and the singing techniques that you can use on any song. Don't play the ukulele but do play another instrument? You can easily apply many of the playing tips to other instruments. Too shy to take a singing class? This class is online via Zoom, so you can belt it out to your heart's content - no one will hear you except for you! Can't make it to class but still want to take it? When you register, you get links to class recordings so you can stream them any ol' time you like, however often you like!
Led by vocal coach Jody Albright and hosted by Ukulele Clare Innes and Rebecca Padula, this class will offer you a strong singing foundation and an exploration into improvisation to help you sing a song the way you feel it in your heart. Some of the basic instrument accompaniment techniques that we cover can, surprisingly, even apply to how you approach any song with your voice.
WHEN: Sundays, Jan. 8, 15 & 22, 4:00-5:30 p.m.
WHERE: Zoom
COST: $45 for all 3 sessions
