Hey kids! Taking Things Apart is back at the Pierson Library. We'll be dissecting unloved toys and broken appliances to learn how things work. We want you, and your broken stuff to come and play.
Did you receive some really annoying toys over December holidays that you'd like to never hear again? Maybe last year's toys finally gave up the ghost? Or maybe you decided to finally give up on that old VCR? Let's give them a proper send off and learn some things along the way.

Learn how everyday things work through the simple act of taking them apart. We teach safety and how to use tools, then you dissect real machines with the help of our friendly engineers and volunteers. Enjoy taking things apart and making a mess at the library, without getting in trouble. Great for girls! Lead by a female engineer.
Please bring a broken appliance and a responsible adult with your kids. See flyer below for details.
