Actors" Repertory Theatre call for Auditions

Needed singers, guitarists, actors for the Premiere Production of
"Going Up the Country"
Performances April 28-30 and May 5-7, 2023

The play has been adapted from Yvonne Daley's book of the same name. Yvonne was a Vermont journalist who died this past April, and who wrote about the hippie invasion of the 1960's and 70's into the lives of native Vermonters and how each group transformed the other.
The play and music have been written by Eric Peterson and John Foley.

Cast of six.
Two young women ages 18-30
Two young men ages 18-30
One older man 40-55
One older woman 40-55

Please don't worry if you aren't within the suggested age ranges. We can be flexible.

Please come prepared to sing a folk song from the sixties or seventies. You can perform with guitar or a cappella.
Sides will be given at auditions to read for the parts.

Auditions and performances will be at West Rutland Town Hall.
Audition dates…
Friday January 6th from 6-9 p.m.
Saturday January 7th from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Please come in the side door to the first-floor conference room. Please bring proof of vaccination. We hope to see you there!
