Local history buffs: The Essex Community Historical Society is hosting a program at 7pm July 9th.

The program is presented by state Legislator Tim Jerman. It's a slide show of black/white photos taken circa 1900 of Essex, Fort Ethan Allen under construction, UVM and Vermont country life. The photos on on loan courtesy of the Vermont Historical Society.
