St. Johnsbury Athenaeum, Athenaeum Hall, 2nd Floor Wednesday, January 18 at 7 PM

Come join Dr. Alan Berolzheimer, Vermont Humanities scholar, as he leads us in an interesting and informative community book discussion of The Most Costly Journey, Vermont Reads Book 2022.

The Most Costly Journey tells the stories of 19 migrant farm workers in their own words. Illustrated by New England cartoonists in a variety of styles, each short chapter describes aspects of life as an immigrant farm worker in Vermont.

Copies of the book are available at the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum circulation desks to read before the discussion.
