For some, the holidays are not a time of joy but of difficult feelings that arise out of the painful events in our lives, events such as death of a loved one, medical infirmity, poverty, divorce, or abuse. Over the past two years of the pandemic, many have lost loved ones and long for a contemplative way in which to mark Christmas.
Again, this year, the Peacham Congregational Church is offering a special "Blue Christmas" service for those who are interested in attending a more somber, reflective Christmas observance in 2022. All are welcome.
