The Burlington Shambhala Meditation Center is offering a six-week course called "Living Our Ideals by Walking the Bodhisattva Path." The class will present Buddhist teachings on the awakening of loving kindness, compassion and wisdom in order to liberate oneself and others from suffering, and to build a more enlightened society where the best of humanity can flourish. The teachings are ancient but always fresh, and seemingly tailor-made to the challenges of this modern world.
The course will be offered on six Monday evenings, 6-8 pm, Jan. 9 to Feb. 13, and may be attended in-person at the Shambhala Center at 187 South Winooski Avenue, Burlington or online. For more information, visit https://burlington.shambhala.org/, or call 802-777-5272.
