Solstice Celebration

Past event
Dec 19, 2022, 3 to 5 PM

The sun is reaching the point when it appears to be far from these northern climes. It's about to "stand still" for a few days before it appears to begin moving back towards us, bringing light and lengthening days. People all over the world and throughout human history have celebrated this time of year, so

Burlington Circle Dance group invites all who wish to participate to join us for a Solstice Circle Dance Celebration in the Fletcher Room at the Fletcher Free Library on Monday, December 19 from 3-5pm.

You don't need to know the dances, we teach them, just be willing to join in. There will also be poetry, a Solstice ritual, a story and light refreshment (brought by participants!) You're invited to wear white or festive clothing if you wish.

Email if you want more information.
