A Chittenden East merger committee has been working for several months on Articles of Agreement to merge all of the school boards (6 elementary and the MMU bd) into one board representing all k-12 schools. This board would have 15 members with proportional representatives from each school district. The committee has one more meeting to finalize the proposal before it is sent to the State for review. This meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 7 at 4:30 at the CESU offices in Richmond.

You can find the current version of the Articles on the CESU website (cesu.k12.vt.us). You may also ask questions or make comments during the public comment session of the meeting on the 7th.
