The next "Montpelier Contra Dance" will happen Saturday, Dec. 17th: 8:00-11:00 PM, at the Capital City Grange Hall, 6612 VT-12, Berlin VT 05602. Just one mile south of Montpelier.
We'll be welcoming another great caller: Lisa Greenleaf, from the Boston area, with musicians Jeremiah McLane (accordion and keyboards), Eric McDonald (guitar) and Dave Langford (fiddle) providing the tunes.
Weather forecasts say that the snow will be over before the dance, for the most up-to-date info, check the Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/montpeliercontradance for any changes--but we're expecting to do some hot dancing!
Instruction/Newcomers' session at 7:40, we always love to have new folks join us! If you haven't been to a contra dance, check out the videos of folks dancing in the Grange Hall at: http://capitalcitygrange.org/dancing/contradancing/. You'll also see our COVID protocols--we require good masks: N95, KN95/KF94 or medical/surgical masks. Please bring your own, we'll have a few extras if needed
Admission prices: $12 for adults, $5 for kids & low-income folks, or be a "dance supporter" and give us $20, to help us pay the wonderful callers, musicians and sound techs for the great work they do. We appreciate everyone who comes, whatever you pay!
