Artemis 1 with Lamoille County Star Gazers

Friday, Dec 16th 7:00pm - 8:00pm

NASA's Artemis program returns humans to the Moon!

Come hear Elaine Fortin, NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador talk about this mission. The first flight, Artemis I, launched one month ago, on November 16th, and sent the spacecraft Orion to orbit the moon and return to earth in early December 2022.

Artemis 2, scheduled to launch in May 2024, will carry astronauts to orbit the moon but not land, and return to earth. Artemis 3 will launch in 2025, and land humans on the moon, and return to earth.

Why??? Because NASA wants to go to Mars and going to the Moon will prepare us to live off our planet.
Why??? Come find out on Friday, December 16th at 7 PM, Morrisville Centennial Library.
