We are one week away from our final Hunger's Hard, Baking's Easy food drop. . . oooo la la.

This year is our tenth year anniversary and to celebrate we will be featured on WCAX as one of those feel good hometown segments. We hope that you feel good when you bake (or buy) for this foodraiser but we REALLY hope you will help out this year especially. We want to make a good showing for those Hollywood lights, err Vermont cameras and can't do that without your participation and support.

To be honest, the Christmas event usually is lighter than the Thanksgiving one and this past Thanksgiving was really light compared to years past so Leslie and I are a little nervous. We know this is a beloved part of the holiday for many so we are crossing our fingers that the Gods of baked goods will come through for us and the agencies this effort supports.

You can deliver your parcels of confections or breakfast groceries to Stowe Elementary and High Schools, In Company Clothing and the Body Lounge (both on the Mountain Road) and to River Arts in Morrisville (by noon please) from 8:00 - 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19th. We are also looking for some video footage to share with WCAX of folks baking for the event. Please let us know if you would be willing to have your 15 seconds of fame.
