Time to fill your bird feeders! On Sunday, December 18, volunteers will be driving and walking town roads to count all species and number of birds for the annual Springfield VT Christmas Bird Count. Weathersfield is within the 15-mile diameter count circle that is centered in Springfield. Don't be alarmed by people with binoculars driving slowly through neighborhoods. They are looking for birds and contributing to the oldest citizen science project in this country.
