If you enjoy colors and surprises, this class is for you. This eco-print plant dyeing class involves silk, plants, water, and a bit of whimsy while we explore how to eco-dye prints of plants on fiber. We will experiment with leaves and petals placed on silk and then bundled for their steam bath. There is always a surprise waiting at the end of the process and that is the most fun. No prior experience is needed for this class. It is designed as a “follow the leader” project with plenty of room for you to make your own designs.

The fiber we will be working with is silk and perhaps a bit of white wool fabric. Each will leave with at least one piece of completed work. For additional information and registration visit www.vermontarthouse.org
