Creative Engagement with Older Adults at Twin Valley Senior Center
Lunch at 12 pm, Workshop at 1 pm
4583 US Rte. 2, East Montpelier, VT, (802) 223-3322
In this workshop, we will learn how to use new tools to foster joyful interactions with loved ones who have
dementia. We will learn creative ways to engage in active listening, use our imaginations, and ask open-ended questions where there are no wrong answers.
TimeSlipsTM is an evidence-based program founded on the idea that creative expression, growth, and meaning are available to us at every stage of life. TimeSlips.org has developed resources and tools to support
meaningful communication. Grandchildren, spouses, and friends can take advantage of these tools to connect with their loved ones in new ways!
Workshop presented by Alana Phinney, Certified TimeSlips Facilitator & Wellness Coordinator.
