The Monkton Museum & Historical Society invites you to an 1859 Old Town Hall Open House this Saturday, December 10th. Our doors will be open from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Stop in for a quick hello and see some of our local historical artifacts. You could also peruse our binders of information on Monkton's soldiers who served in many different wars. After your recycling run, stop in for a cup of hot chocolate or tea. We would love to connect with you about ideas for our museum and how best to utilize the 1859 Town Hall in a self- sustaining way. We are also collecting stories about life in East Monkton for our next historical Monkton boros publication. Our first history of Monkton Ridge was revealed in June at the Strawberry Festival. We still have copies of this Monkton Ridge history on sale for $4.00. We hope to see you on Saturday, December 10th between 9:30 and 12:30 at the1859 Old Town Hall.
