Proposed amendments to the Town of Milton's Town Plan for the Town of Milton, Vermont
The Town of Milton Select Board hereby provides notice of a public hearing being held pursuant to 24 V.S.A. § 4444(b) for the purpose of hearing public comments concerning the Town Plan for the Town of Milton, Vermont.

DATE: January 3, 2023, at 6:00pm
PLACE: Community Room in Municipal Building, 43 Bombardier Road, Milton, Vermont

STATEMENT PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Town Plan is to lay out a vision for the town over the long term and to plan development so as to maintain the historic settlement pattern of compact village and urban centers separated by rural countryside. This Town Plan also furthers the purposes of the Vermont Planning and Development Act, Title 24 V.S.A. Chapter 117 (the Act) to promote the health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants of Milton, Vermont.

GEOGRAPHIC AREA AFFECTED: The Town Plan applies to all areas in the Town of Milton, Vermont.
