Want to see some meteors?? The Guilford Free Library will be hosting a meteor shower viewing party next Tuesday, December 13, 5:30-6:30pm. The Geminid meteors are some of the most prolific meteor showers of the year, with up to 120 per hour - that's about 2 meteors every minute! Come ooh and aah with neighbors as we gather at the Playscape, just down Carpenter Hill Road from the Library for this thrilling event. Bring a lawn chair if you have one, or a blanket to lay on the ground. In the case of poor weather or cloudiness we will try again on Wednesday, December 14, 5:30-6:30pm.
