Save the date for the first "Savor the Islands" Farm Dinner of the summer! The Lake Champlain Islands Agriculture Network is hosting our second year of fun, family friendly far, dinners this summer. Join local farmers, bakers, and cooks for this popular series of on-farm localvore dinners!

Three local farms will be opening their doors and fields for family friendly meals and farm tours- with local flatbread baked in a wood fired oven, creative salads and sides, and sweet treats highlighting farm fresh ingredients. Enjoy an afternoon on the farm with great food, farm tours, and the best company around! Our first dinner will be at Health Hero Farm on Sunday, July 13, 2014. 3:00-5:00 pm. 350 West Shore Road, South Hero.

Suggested donation of $17/person children 12 and under eat free. All profits from these farm dinners will be donated to Food for Thought, a local organization providing fresh healthy food to children in low income families during the summer, to facilitate local food purchases.
