Celebrate the 4th of July in Hinesburg on Friday! Start out by running in the annual Hilly Hobble Foot Race first on Thursday 7/3. Registration in front of HCS at 6:00 pm. 10K starts at 6:30 pm and 5K starts at 7:00 pm at the bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West. 2K starts at 7:10 pm in front of Good Times. Finish at Veterans Park. Join the parade - do a float this year! Theme is Beach Party. No registration necessary. Our Grand Marshal is Autumn Eastman who was voted VT Female Athlete of the Year. Parade line up begins at 10:00 am at the bottom of Buck Hill Rd. West, judging starts at 10:30 am and parade kicks off at 11:00 am. You could win a prize (gift certificates, gas cards and CASH) for - Best of Parade, Best Business Float, Best Float, Best Theme, Best Antique Vehicle, Best Tractor, Best, Costume, Best Horse and Rider, and NEW this year, Best Decorated Bike!! All kiddos who participate get a free creamee at Papa Nick's! Book Sale at Town Hall, Food, Dunk Tank, Bounce House, and face painting behind HCS, Chasing 440 will perform at Veteran's Park, Lions Club Duck Race, and Fireworks at dusk.
